Turns out the package I mailed was there in three days...two of them a weekend. Since I had extra insurance on it, they left an 'attempt to deliver' notice on the 19th. Despite knowing that the package was on the way, and also knowing that it had things in it for other family members that would be visiting on Chrsitmas, my sister didn't manage to get the Post Office to pick it up until Monday the 26th...pretty busy at the PO that time of year. :mad: At least they let her in the back door to get it since they were closed. :mad:
What irritates me almost more than that was that I still had to call her to verify. And if you're too tired to read between the lines, that means that nobody was impressed enough with what was in the box to Email or call.
I'm a bit disappointed in my siblings. :(
So anyway...the Post Office is forgiven. :mad:
