Am having trouble finding a 3/4"x 145". Resaw King. There are 1" x145 for $170. But when I do find a 3/4x145 they are $250. Is there a reason a3/4" blade is more expensive. Or would a 1" blade work as well. 18" Laguna bandsaw

If your saw will support use of the 1" blade and it's cheaper, to me that's a no-brainer.

You've already given up the ability to cut tight'ish curves, with 3/4', so go big.

I have the 3/4" on my 14/12, that's the largest blade that saw will support.

How many teeth/inch are on them? I'll bet the 3/4" has more.

The Italian 18" will almost tension it properly. 3/4" would be better.

The Asian 18" - forget it.

Why not order directly from laguna for $174.99: https://www.shop.lagunatools.com/3-4-X-2-3-Variable-TPI-X-145_4

I have an 18 BX and have two of the 1.25 resaw king blades. I like having two for when I need to send one out to be sharpened I can put the other on and keep going with my projects. This is the blade I primarily keep on the saw (except when I am cutting bowl blanks for the lathe, when I use a 1/2" lenox dimaster 2 with my circule jig). I did the caliper tension test and I was able to tension to 30kpsi on the 1.25" blade - it definitely was more than I had been using before I measured it, but it was able to do it.

To the OP: Not sure if your heart is set on that blade but Spectrum Supply and Bandsawbladesdirect-dot-com can both cut you a 3/4” Lenox Woodmaster CT at fair market price and that’s about an ideal a finish-cut blade as you could want.
