Finally got back into the shop tonight. The first two pictures are the proof (for those that thought it was too clean!)

Did a reproduction of a finial off an old piece of furniture. Picture 3.

Went back and tackled the piece of Spalted Elm tha BIT me last week. Still on the lathe. Got to finish the bottom tomorrow, but I'm glad I didn't throw it back into the burn pile.

Thanks for lookin'

Bruce;)

Answers to all.

Carole. Thanks for asking. It's still tender, but comin' alone well.

Kieth. Nothin' special. Just a Talon with the standard jaws.

Bill. Same answer as to Carole.

Andy. I'd make the pictures bigger, but then they won't upload. Found this size ALWAYS uploads. Is there a particular one you would like to see enlarged? If, so I'll try to get a bigger one posted.

Thanks to all for your comments. I was supposed to start the cradle project this afternoon, but the shop is in use all week. More time to turn the rest of this week.

That's dirty? I'm with Carole, don't come my way. I've been off since Christmas weekend and tonight I had to take out the garbage, with 4 VERY large bags of shavings....:o
