Jay,

I own an old 6" Dynabrade air sander that I bought used from a furniture shop. I don't use it as much as I do my electric ROS's but it gets a work out when i need to wet sand. They are extremely durable and will take a beating day in and day out. You need a fairly large compressor though, air sanders are need lots of CFM.

I have been reading sawmill for sevral months and am very impressed. I used the dynebrade for the first time finish sanding a cedar strip canoe and was very happy with the feel and finish It is a air hog but does as good a job as my festool ROS.

Jay, I've had good luck at the BORGS in finding PSA paper. I have an air powered Dynabrade. I does a good job. it's fast and the dust collection is above average. Both my wife and I use it. She prefers it over any other sander I have (Dewalt, PC, B&D). It does take a lot of air to run it. Dick B.
