Powdercoating

I read an article in a trade mag recently about lasering into powder coated material. Has anyone done this? I have a 24TT 45w and would appreciate any settings to start from if you have.

I helped a neighbor start up a powdercoating business years ago! Great stuff!! I have burnt through quite a few of his coatings (there are many types of powder paint makeups) and they have varying results. I have found I need increased speed and increased power to do a good jod in one pass. Too slow and the stuff puddles/ melts? Too fast and you can't get through it. This is one tough coating and if one were to get a large contract I'm sure it would work out well. Hope this helps.
