Slot-Mortising-Hammer-A3-31 - mobility kit for mortiser?

Hi,

Has anyone constructed (or bought) a mobility kit for the slot mortiser attachment to the Hammer A3 31 jointer planer.

If so please send a picture and any additional information about the kit.

Adel, there is one for the Felder attachment, but not the Hammer. That being said, I'm almost certain I've seen photos of someone who DIY'ed a plywood trolley for their unit. Could be worth a search. Good luck,

You should be able to fabricate one out of plywood and some wheels for mobility. I did that when I owned a low quality off-shore made jointer/planer machine with a mortising attachment. Owned the machine for ten years and used the mortising attachment exactly once. I would love to own one of those dedicated mortising machines like the Felder offering, but my bench top Powermatic is up to the task.
