Red stains

Last night I was working on a school craft project for a child and I was glueing metal nuts to pine with CA glue and accelerator. Later that night I noticed that my fingers have red stains on them. I was wearing nitrile gloves but they did get damaged by the solvents. Any thoughts on what caused the red stain. I have worked with CA glue a lot and never seen this. Googled it and came up with nothing. Thanks

Begs the question - were your gloves red?
I'm guessing they were not, but ....

Good point -- gloves were blue.

The only thing I could think of is that something in the CA glue reacted with the nuts.

Yeah thanks Bryan. The stains went away after several handwashings. I didn't experience any irritation, so clearly nothing to worry about.
