Shaper Origin, a poor man's CNC ?

Well , poor man's cnc --possibly.
CNC machines vary a lot today in cost ,this one will have some good uses, possibly something that is built and cannot fit under the gantry
The draw back is the camera having to look at the tape at all times , so a kitchen counter top with a back splash could pose problems
But the tech here to watch the x y axis move is amazing, you know how shaky a hand held router can be
they also show dovetails , box joints --now that might be usefull
