I needed a 24" rule and just don't like the Woodpecker I bought previously. I didnt want/need the thing to be graduated in 32's of an inch. So I tried this wooden rule from Lee Valley. I was a little skeptical about using a wooden rule because of durability. But I used it again today and it's a really nice rule. Seems durable too. (No, the WP wont be for sale, even if I dont like it. :) )
