I am coming off a eBay laser using Lightburn and moving to Corel with Trotec. My main question is with the eBay laser I was use to a 0,0 axis and setting things in the laser at that point. With Corel 0,0 puts the outline down at the bottom of the page. Will it not work the same with Corel or is there a way to adjust the ruler in the software. Again whole new learning curve and no idea where to start and the sales guy who was to setup training I have heard nothing from.

I'm running Corel Draw 11 and to change 0,0 click at the point where the arrows are (rulers adjoin) and drag to where you want "home" to be.
I use upper left as home. HTH

Open a blank page in Corel and select options. You will see a window as shown. In my case my page size is set to 12 x 25. My 0 0 is the upper left corner.

445319 Save your setting as default.

Roy Brewer has an excellent tutorial on his site https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rFpOWrG2ts

There IS a caveat to moving the 0,0 to top-left, it's that working down, the numbers are negative, positive numbers always work UP... Another issue is, if you change the page size or rotate it, the 0,0 reverts back to the bottom left corner, even when saved as the default-- this is because any change in the page renders it other than the default page.

But you get used to it ;)

But you can save the size as a page option and pull it up when you want it.
