I turned these it was one of five "only one I have", left for gifts during break time ,it took ten minutes and it is finished with deft.Sorry bout the pictures still working on it! The bowl is 8/4 hondo 9 '' by 1 3/4 '' 1/8 thick.

I have a pretty nice shop to work in and I have been doing this for a while, You make a plan organize and execute.....If it dont work throw it away and rethink your plan....
never give up.....never ,never ever! LOL

Nice one Robert. On first glance of the first picture I thought there was an inlay of a tree form. Naturally in the wood... even better.

Great looking bowl! I'm no artist but 'classic' is a word that comes to mind.

Im no expert either you never are but I always try to use the rule of thirds when I look at a project, it work for the Romans !
