I built a adjustable top card table back in roughly 2010. The cherry table was featured in Popular Woodworking (I think). I went through all my old magazines and could not find it. I probably am missing some, but felt it was PW. I emailed the company, but they have been sold and it is a maze to get help. I know it is shot in the dark, but just hoping someone had built that table and knew where to find it.

If you could be a little more specific with the publication date, I can check my shelves.

I wish I could. I am going off of memory with a wild guess. I also should have said expandable card table, instead of adjustable.

Searching the Woodworking Magazine index (1) for the phrase "card table" turned up four articles.

Baltimore Demilune Card Table: Popular Woodworking June 2005
Federal Card Table: Fine Woodworking December 2005
Folding Card Table: Woodworker's Journal December 2017
Portsmouth Card Table: American Woodworker August 2012

Some close to 2010. Searching off of "table" wasn't helpful as there are a ton of articles about table saws. Even limiting the search category to Projects - Furniture (Indoor) returned 597 articles.

I love the Woodworking Magazine index for stuff like this. It costs $10 per year but has been quite useful for me in searching different topics.

This might be closer. Searching for "poker" turned up two results.

Classic Oak Poker Table: Woodsmith issue 158
Ruhlman-style Poker Table: Popular Woodworking October 2007

Maybe the latter one? Gary

These seem to be all oval or round. The one I am looking for is square with sliding wings that come out when needing to seat more folks.

Bingo!!! That is the one. I have misplaced that edition and will try to fine it now. It is not in my collection of PW mags.
