I need to connect my Dewalt 779 to the new Fein Turbo 1 I just ordered. I don’t have it yet but I’m assuming the hose end is not compatible to the dust port.
So before I spend an hour looking for parts in Lowe’s, I’m wondering if anyone has already made this connection?

Don't think you should assume anything. The DW705's port works just fine with the orig. Fein Turbos, and they had ridgid connectors. The new versions have a rubberized end that's tapered and will fit a variety of tools ports from diff. manufacturers.

Rockler's adapters are nice - but their hoses stink and choke flow too much to be useful on a mitersaw.

If yours doesn't work out of the box - get one of the fein adapters. Either the stepped adapter or the 35mm-38mm one should work.

Even better still would be to get a dedicated 35mm hose to aid in the flow rate from your saw:

Before I got the Rockler setup (which is not always the answer) I would go to the BORG and get a Fernco fitting to bridge the difference from the outlet to the vacuum hose.
