Help! What a mess.

I drove 100 miles to a different hardwood store today, because they had a good price on quarter sawed white oak. I bought 64 bd feet. I have never used white oak before. When I got home and started stacking it up I noticed that some of the pieces said red oak on the side. Called up the store and after looking into it they said that the stack had been mislabeled. Question, If I mix red quarter sawed red oak with White, then stain the whole project will you be able the see the difference?

You will probably notice some difference. However if you use the red oak for certain similar parts and the white oak for othere similar parts the result may be less noticeable than if the you mix the woods helter skelter. In fact for some applications it can be pleasing.
