I purchased a new switch since my last one was not very responsive - trouble turning on an off. Also a humming coming from the switch when off. A couple questions. One, where to attach the red , white, black wires. Do you think the switch was the source of the humming. And i am looking for a compatible box. The current home depot box is not compatible. The screw mounting holes dont line up. See photos and tell me what you think. 442907442908442909442910
