I have quite a bit of wood from all over the world that I purchased years ago from an old woodworker/Woodturner. He worked at a wood importing company and was paid in wood. Unfortunately, he passed on a few years ago so it’s very difficult to ask him what type of wood I have when I get stumped. In the photos are what I think is possibly big leaf maple, figured/fiddleback maple and a piece that has a orange/brown color and fiddleback figure. That piece is definitely a mystery to me.
