What does it cost to have a pen laser engraved?

Does anyone know what the average cost is to have a wood pen laser engraved with a person's name on it?

An average would be hard since not that many people "publish" prices. Most places will do a name for $5-10 if you by the pen or other object from them.Logo or other artwork they'll charge a setup of anywhere from $1-1000 +.If someone walked into my shop asking to have a pen engraved with a name I'd charge my minimum $15 (hourly rate $60, 15 minute minimum) as it would only take 5 minutes assuming I could use one of my existing pen holders.

Another factor is the quantity being engraved. If you want 1000 pens all engraved the same, the cost could be as low as $1.00 per pen (or less), or for a single pen (as in the previous message), $15.00 per pen.
