are hanging your shop wall.

I was just browsing and came across t bevels and thought "I need one".
Then I remembered I have one, so I went to my shop and counted.

I have five hanging on the wall.

I bet I am no the only woodworker that does this.

SWMBO gets after me when I do it.

Is there a tool you have too many of?

Probably have about 10 of them lying about. There are 3 I like, all of them are the old Stanley #18 style.

I have 3. Only bought 1, inherited the other 2.

I only have two. They get used in frequently.

Two Stanleys. One in the shop and one in the carpentry box. I tend to use them more for carpentry than woodworking. I'd actually like to pick up one or two more Stanleys for carpentry, so I can have more than one angle set at at time. For woodworking I usually grab a Starrett bevel protractor.

Apparently I hoard tablesaws. According to my wife, which is why she isn't going to be allowed in the shop again for a while.

You hoard table saws? I think most people can get by with just five.

Lol, 5??? My wife said something like that! There is a guy in my town who had a Dewalt hybrid saw sitting outside for years. Could see it slowly dying every time I went by. My hoard, (or fleet?) is mostly better stuff and I like to think I saved them from a similar fate. On a side note, if anyone needs to get rid of an older cabinet saw, I guess I'm interested...

I have only three. Two of them are old made in the USA Stanley's that I have had since new. Both have been used on jobsites and proudly display their age. The other is a larger size Johnson with a 10" stainless blade and a genuine imitation walnut handle. This is a really nice T bevel for larger stuff. Even has the Johnson logo laser cut into the handle.

Me too. I used to have one that was my dad's. I have no idea where it got off to. I have a couple of combo squares with protractor heads that I use if needed.

I have probably 6 of them. 2 Stanley's, 1 Shinwa, 2 Blue Spruce, and my absolute favorite is my Vesper. If you are looking for the nicest working bevel ever created the Vesper is it.

A couple of others. They all get a fair amount of use.

I’m fine on t-bevels. I have an old Stanley I got from my dad. It seemed like the tightening lever was always getting in the way. So I have the small and large Woodpecker ones where the lock is at the far end.

tape measures seem to be my nemesis. I’m pretty particular about what gets a permanent home in my shop vest. A 16’ footer is gobs for in the shop and smaller and lighter is better. Presently, I have a Milwaukee tape but would like something smaller.

One, which I don't know where it is, plus a Wixiy bevel gauge, and a General machinest bevel from my shop class days. If Swanson Speed Squares count, then I have a total of six.
