Edge lit acrylic signs will this work?

This acrylic is sold at Home Depot. Will this work for a CNC carved edge lit sign?

It should work fine. You may need to polish the edge where the lights are tho. My experience with big box acrylic is quite a few scratches. You can polish those out with Novus polish.

if you get LED “hotspots” due to a clear flame type polished edge, you can hit the edges with something like 220 sandpaper to give the edge a more satin or matte finish.
