It is that time of year. We average about one every eight or ten years.

When Harvey came through many years back, I awakened in bed wet from the flood waters. We have flood insurance so we recovered.
All the furniture ha to be replaced and the house remodeled.

Didn’t seem that long ago that SMC was worries about you in the flooding and aftermath. IIRC we didn’t hear from you in weeks, which isn’t common. Good luck and be safe with the next one(s).

Good luck to you, your family and neighbors! My cottage is in a costal area and our little town got beat up by Sandy. This last Tropical storm left debris, but no house damage. I feel your anxiety. Good luck!

We dodged the bullet on this one. I boarded up the windows on the lee side of the house yesterday and took the plywood down today. I am thankful.
We have a 90 pound black lab and she is thankful too.
