A 13" Bradford Pear. One of you smart guys will need to flip it for me, please.
Soaked it in Ajax dishwashing liquid for 5-6 days to control cracking. Seemed to have made it look like cherry. A little grit wax and then some Osmo finish.

A 15" cherry burl. Two cores came out of this that need attention.
Needs a finish. What do you think?

Not going to help you with a finish recommendation but that is one excellent figured piece of cherry.

I would consider a tint-able ,pour able plastic. And I see a humanoid face in the center with a rabbit over it's right
shoulder. Would definately play up those.
