Hi,

I'm looking at one of these on auction. I would have to buy sight unseen. I understand it's easy to find replacement bearings... are there other wear parts requiring replacement that would basically be impossible to find / purchase?

If it's the variable speed model, then there are parts in the Reeves drive that can wear. They aren't impossible to find, but could be expensive. The 1150 is a great drillpress, though.

Another concern about old drill presses would be play in the quill. If this model has available adjustment for play, it would remove that worry.
