I found this one on the Net recently. The guy who shared the file was going to make it a clock

Now that's cute, what about a glass of milk to go with it?

Do either of you have the file - eps or dxf?

If I were the Oreo cookie guy, I don’t know whether I would nail somebody for copyright infringement or be grateful for the free plug that I would get for hanging on someone’s wall.

We in newspapers used to get snotty letters for not capitalizing certain brand names. They watch very closely. So did we, but some got by. (Our solution: Never use a brand name unless absolutely necessary.)

Sorry for the diversion.

(And since this thread contains the brand name, I would be willing to bet the cookie guy knows about. :). )

You can pretty much make anything for personal use...you just cannot sell anything with copyrighted designs/art/etc without proper licensing. So if you want a big cookie on your OWN wall, Oreo is fair game!

And that's all I want it for, to give to a good friend who I know loves Oreo cookies!

Thanks Keith! I have a granddaughter that would like that!

I'm thinking about making one of these for my grand daughter. If I do I will be glad to share my vector drawing.

I can’t find my original dxf. This is an export from Aspire.

Here are the dxf and Vectric files for Keith's original image.

Thanks Guys.

Bruce/David does your Aspire file include the toolpaths?

David Buchhauser

Keith - my zip file with tool path exceeded the file size limit. The one I posted has no tool paths, but it's easy enough to create them. Here is a screen shot. I believe the one Bruce posted was similar, but in dxf format.

Keith, the crv file does have toolpaths but is too large to upload.

David Buchhauser

Likewise. My crv file in compressed form is just over 2 MB in size.

I updated the zip file size to 3 meg. Try your uploads again.
I hope that I got it right :)

Here are my .crv files. PM if you have questions.

Mine is not as sophisticated as the one from Bruce. I simply did a trace of Keith's original image and ran a single tool path just to see what it would look like.

I should cut that on the plasma.

Here is the "plasma friendly" cut file - so the center won't drop out.

Any got the original .svg or some other vectored file format version they can post? Thats a great idea!

Several dxf files posted already in previous posts. These were/are attached as zip (compressed) files due the large file size. Would you like svg instead of dxf?

Here is the file in svg format. It is compressed, so you will need to extract from zip format to svg format.

Don't have a CNC, but I do have Oreo's in the house, so it really is cookie time!
