Date code on Powermatic 66 Table Saw

How do you figure out the manufacturing date on a Powermatic 66 Table Saw ? It's the old green model

There is a Serial Number reader for Powermatic available over at vintagemachinery.org. Of course the site is down right now, but that's where you should start. The first couple digits typically represent the year but the year could be a single digit or two digits since they changed their numbering scheme a couple times.

or could be 66-5465

Either way it’s a 1966. Those are thought to be the better PM66’s; better arbor bearing setup.
