My wife inherited four hand saws from her father. She asked me to clean them up which I did. I took the handles off and soaked the saw plates in EvapoRust. Then I refinished the handles. I'll get them sharpened - I don't have the equipment or experience to sharpen hand saws.

The two shorter saws were in the worse shape, with more rust and the handles were not in great shape (but with some glue and sanding, they cleaned up well.)

Anyway, here they are.

The first on is a 26 inch Disston D-23, 10ppi Crosscut.

The second is a 25 3/4 inch Disston Keystone K-4, 8ppi Rip. It has a logo of a B-29 (I think) and the words "Air Master". So this one is certainly after WWII. I learned that the Keystone was a value line saw.

The next is a 19 3/4 inch Zenith, 12ppi, Crosscut

The last is an 18 inch Disston, 8ppi Rip, probably a D-8.

Any comments you might have about them will be appreciated - Quality saws? What should I do with them? Value? Etc.?

The shorter two are particularly nice "user" quality.

None are what collectors prize - which means they're a link to your family, when making things with them.
