truncated threads?

I recently found a thread titled "My Camber blade round suit finally came," started in 2011 and then picked up again in 2016. I stepped in (2020) with a reply. Since then I have only been shown some of the posts in the thread. For example, at the top it says there are about 25 posts, but I can only see one page, which typically seems to hold about 15 posts. Does anyone else have that experience?

I sometimes have issues with the “mobile” view hiding posts, but can usually find all posts when I use “full site.”
