Nova G3 chuck

Took apart my Nova G3 to clean it and forgot to mark which slide goes in which slot. Directions say that the #1 slide goes in the slot with a "dimple", but I don't see a dimple anywhere.
Anyone have advice?

I've seen some marks on chucks and jaws which were sometimes poorly defined. I don't have G3s on hand at the moment (loaned out or given away) but assuming you looked for a tiny punch mark which is missing or invisible the thing I'd do is mark the slots and try them in one position. If that doesn't work out there are only three more positions to try! It's been years since I took a G3 apart so I hope I'm not confused about how it works.
