Hello,
I've been looking at a range of designs for an outfield table for cabinet saws, and would like to have it double as an assembly table, and maybe also a surface to cut plywood on with my track saw. Lots of videos on this type of table, some featuring 20mm dog holes in an MFT-like array, some with dovetailed dadoes for the Microjig clamps, and some with T-track of various sorts. At this point I'm thinking that a roughly 4x6 ft MDF top, featuring 20mm dog holes and dovetailed for the Microjig in between the holes, set on top of a torsion type box might be a very versatile combination of the above. I have a traditional workbench, so this would be mainly for outfield and assembly, with the ability to clamp in as many ways as practical. Would love to hear what others have done and either like or dislike-
Thanks!
Izzy
