Finish for a glass or cup.

If I made a glass or cup out of walnut what finish could I use that would stand up to wine or cola products?

If it's an old design I would use bees wax. Modern design ... Epoxy.

I receintly used super glue on a walnut chalace, tested for over 4 hours and no leaks. Epoxy should work as well but will not be able to use more than a thin coat otherwise it will run while it is curing.
