Has anyone been around one of these?
How well do they work?

Tod,
Did you see the capability of planing on both the bottom and top?
I was wondering if that bottom cutter was any good or simply a gimmick.
Setting knives on this machine looks mean from this pic.

rob, yes i noticed the lower head. these machines are attempting to fill a nitch for the small shop owner who doesn`t want to pass wood twice. i seriously doubt either head can take an 1/8th in a single pass?? what end result are you hoping to achieve? and what is your budgit? this machine might serve a purpose for someone working strictly in softwoods with limited power, but earlier you have said that you have 3phase available? there is a reason lots of medium to large shops have chosen the italian machines, they are well made and will work all day long without a whimper. as the add for this machine states "it will parallel"....that`s what a singlesided machine does and does well.i think money is best spent on horsepower and a servicible cutterhead instead of a set-up nightmare such as this.........02 tod
