What if we have no idea of what you speak when you say, "weed whip?"

I hang it string head up on one of these: https://gemplers.com/collections/workshop-storage-material-handling-tool-racks/products/gemplers-extra-wide-long-handled-tool-rack

Also great for shovels, sledges, picks, and the like.

Well, this thread title showed up on my computer as "How do you store your Weed " and I thought "nice try, officer".

I had not ever heard the term weed whip. Around here, we call 'em string trimmers (formally) or weed whackers (informally). I store mine cutting end down because of the gas tank. Here's mine:

I store mine from two spikes driven into the wall at an appropriate height. Mine is battery powered so I don't have to worry about fuel leaks.

i have mine in a big cabinet with house entry door hardware on the doors. They have all the motors hanging down in a shed not attached to anything else, but other mowers, blowers, and such in there. 2 string trimmers, one clearing saw, long handled hedge trimmer, telescopic pole chainsaw, with other tools used for the same sorts of things, rolls of string on the door, manual pole saws, and such. I didn't want the gas powered stuff inside anywhere any other tools are.

I've always called it a weed eater.

I have 2 of these (the large size) in the shed. One holds the weed eater & leaf blower, the other holds extension cords. I also have a couple in the shop.

I heard weed whip or weed whacker growing up. I still use both.
Mine is also battery power, so it hangs from the garage rafter on a little rubber hook.

you are a clever wordsmith as well as understanding wood.

I had to look that up, sounds like a fun time, Merrymaking before another celebration, I think we could all use some of that.

Little car has to fill in for a wally wagon at the moment. For a wally landscape stuff is a breeze, might as well be a pickup truck with a cap. I brought a cut up ash tree back a few weeks ago and have two more waiting. Are we going to replace all these ash trees that come down, real shame all that, five ash trees cut down within 200 feet of me.
