Interesting observation on nameplate attachment methods.

I am slowly cleaning up a older Delta/Crescent 12./14 tablesaw. I took off the name plates to make painting easier. It is interesting to see that for three plates they used three different mounting methods. The serial number plate on the back side was mounted by drive rivets. I guess they did not want that one to ever be removed. The arc plate to show tilt angle is held on by machine screws into tapped holes on the base. The nameplate is also screwed on but they used fancy pop rivet type thread inserts.
