Klingspor Fusion Foam pads

I am finishing some boxes that have a domed lid. My plan is to rub them out to a high gloss - but was worried about the curvature of the lid giving me some issues with all of the fine sanding.

I found today some foam sanding pads from Klingspor - Fusion Foam pads they're called...

I am just wondering if anyone has used these with their RO sander to rub out a finish? Or if there's any tricks with them.

I haven't used Klingspore's product but I have used Abralon foam pads. They worked really well on my ROS, but had a very, very short lifespan, like 20 sq. ft and dead. That might still do a lot of box lids, but it was disappointing for my island top needs. Hopefully, the Klingspore product lasts longer.
