Recipe for a flock of guineas

We all need guinea fowl on our properties, of course, so if you don't have any here are some instructions.
In a mere 4-6 months you too can have your very own flock of guineas!

PART A
Ingredients:
A baker's dozen of fresh fertilized guinea eggs.
NOTE: if you can't find these at Walmart or Amazon try Craigslist.

Put in a warm oven at 100-deg F, +/- a half degree
Adjust humidity to about 60%
Set a timer for 28 days.
Heat continuously, stirring once every hour or two.

At the end of the 28 days do not be alarmed if the shells appear broken! That is normal.
When a egg is properly prepared it should each look something like this:

PART B
Ingredients:
Prepared eggs
Game bird starter food
Water

Discard shell.
Collect the starter guineas when they look dry and fuzzy.
Store with food and water at 95-100 deg F until all eggs are prepared.

PART C
Ingredients:
Two cups of starter guineas
Game bird starter food
Water

Store in a very warm place with food and water and away from cats.
Gradually reduce the applied heat over the next month or so.
Do not be alarmed if the food and water disappear. This is normal.
NOTE: the floor of the storage area will need regular cleaning. That happens.
Wait until each guinea starter is 2-3 lbs.

PART D
Ingredients:
8-12 partially grown guineas
Game bird starter food
Water

Place in a secure outdoor location such as a cage with a view of the property.
Protect against things like foxes and hawks that eat guineas.
Add food and water.
In 4-6 weeks, open the door of the cage.

If all has gone well, you should now have a nice flock of guineas to enjoy!
If this is your first batch, prepare to be entertained.

NOTE: collect eggs to give to your friends and neighbors so they can have their own batch!

My neighbor started some guineas a couple years back. I believe he had 23 hatch out. By winters end he was down to 6 (I guess some froze in the trees).
Wild things have since consumed all but 2.
They are my birds during the daytime and go back to his place @ nite.
Weird funny noisy birds.

I had 14 for a year and nothing touched them. Then this spring I lost a few to hawks and who knows what and I think I have 10. I'll probably raise another 10 or so to add to this flock.
