Check this out.....
I ran across this double sided 16" planer by Woodtek. The bottom cutter is mounted in a split table like a jointer. The infeed table is adjustable. Obviously this will not do what a huge jointer will do, and the tables are much shorter.......but why would this not work to flatten "cupped" boards? (using light cuts). I wonder if a Byrd cutterhead would fit top and bottom.
Any other units like this on the market?
