My hardware accumulation is extensive. Some of it was actually some of my father's fastener assortment. He was a pack rat's pack rat. Maybe it is genetic.
While looking through one small hoard for some set screws, it occurred to me others might find my little helper useful:

This was put together quickly with screws and scrap wood. It makes it easy to go through a box of hardware a little at a time and then the opening on the end makes it easy to pour it all back into its original container.
My 'round tuit' project is to make one in an octagon shape some time.
