I bought three teak 4/4 roughsawn boards. The outsides all have the usual brown teak color. However, when I milled the boards I found that the interiors are a much lighter color. The brown teak color on the surface extends only 1/8" or 3/16" into the board. Here's some pics:

It looks like time or oxygen or the drying process has turned the raw wood color to the nice brown color I'm accustomed to seeing. What I want to know is whether if this newly-exposed light-colored wood will eventually turn brown. Anybody know?

Yes. Freshly milled teak often looks light and spotty, but a few days will remedy that.
