I replaced the belts on my tablesaw with the Harbor freight flex twist belts. The segmented multi link type. Since I have the top off I thought I would run the arbor with no blade for about one hour then tighten up the belts by moving the motor. Does this sound like enough time to stretch them enough to make a difference?
It is not the original motor so a little hard to keep in line working just from the bottom. Best to do it with the top off.

I tried google and all I got were abdominal belts for exercising and lifting.

I don't know about the HF one, but I have the original brand on my 14" bandsaw. I just ran it for a while, and took out a link (or 2-don't remember). I can't remember how long it took to stretch, but I don't think it was very long. I thought it was more of all the links settling into position, rather than simply stretching. It's run fine since that initial "adjustment".
