I'm "restoring" a set of wind chimes for my mom. I'm using a couple of pieces of fir for the wood pieces that catch the breeze and cause it to chime. I'm wondering which of the 3 finishes I have on hand might give it a decent natural look and protect it a bit from the elements. I've got BLO, Minwax Wipe-On Polyurethane and Tung oil. Thanks for the advice in advance.

My choice would be the Tung oil. It doesn't darken like BLO so often does.

If it's going outside, Spar Varnish weathers well.
