Congrats, Joe!! You made an excellent choice. I love my 1836 and it has given me four years of enjoyable turning. When I sold my first small lathe I coveted a Robust American Beauty. Without taking anything from that lathe, as it is a superb lathe, I can honestly say I have no desire for another lathe. The Revo does everything I need for the varied work I do.

I second John's sentiments on the Revo. I wanted a 3520 or Robust, but couldn't see spending the extra money. Extremely happy with mine.
