I picked up a pair of 532s over a year ago. One was a later model (late 50s, maybe early 60s) 5 head machine with a repaired table support arm and a repaired cut off saw mount. The other is an early 50s 4 head that was in pretty good shape and matches my 1947 532 I rebuilt.
Table support arm repair would be an exercise in wasting time and money, so I decided to swap good parts from the 4 head to the 5 head. Sure, they are the same in theory, but I will have to move a couple bolt holes, drill and tap the frame. The hardest part will be getting the table support rails set in the correct spot and drilling for new tapered pins to lock it in place. I showed my oldest and youngest what needed done and they got to it. I had to help with a couple things, but for the most part they will get most things ready for me to set up.
