Thinking of making a murphy bed with side cabinet. Wonder if anyone has done this and what to expect.

I built one for my Aunt a few years ago using also using the create-a-bed kit. I agree with Jamie, it's a big job. If I remember correctly, the kit calls for 5 sheets of 3/4 plywood. It turned out well and is still in use.
