Came from a Georgia peach, Don Farr...:D Don sent me some wood a while back and this is another piece of it. Wife has laid claim to this one in a hurry! It's about 9" wide and about 3-1/2" tall. Wall thickness is around 7/16".

Sanded thru 600, two coats of gel poly, buffed.

Thanks Don!!!

I love turning this stuff and your most excellent bowl is a good example of why...it just plain looks great and always has "interest".

Great job Mark, as already noted the markings look great as does everything else with this bowl. Your wife picked a winner.

Mark, that's one of the nicest pieces of Ambrosia I've seen in a while! You done it justice and beautiful finish. Like Jack says, it really begs to be picked up! Nice job.:)

A lovely piece of wood displayed nicely. I love the way the Ambrosia markings almost flow around the bowl. And yes, there is some nice curl there. Good job!;)
