please help with washing machine

I have a washing machine and the tub looks like it is broke. only 2 yrs old warranty has expired on it. is this real expensive to fix, or should i consider replacing it. when it is on spin cycle and all the water is out the machine shakes real bad. its leveled out and still does this.

Check to see if one of the springs that keeps tension on the tub has broken or has come loose. If it has, that will cause the tub to become unbalanced and rattle or walk. These springs connect the outer tub to the frame. Depending on the manufacturer, you will have to remove the back or the outer shell to see them. The owner's manual will tell you which. Many machines have what is called a snubber that provides resistace to the tub against excess movement. Often it only requires cleaning sometimes replacement.
