Has anybody engraved tumblers, like Yeti's without the use of a rotary attachment? Maybe something makeshift where you engrave 1/2 the image then turn the cup and engrave the other 1/2 of the image??? Any ideas?

You lose focal length---unless you have a very small image, then it's possible.
Also you would have to be VERY precise if you turn the tumbler for the "wrapped" effect.

What type of machine do you have? We have good results on our fiber as that it has a greater focal length than our Epilog CO2; I wouldn't bother with our CO2.

3 axis laser like Keyence, mdx, mdf or mdv series, 42mm in focus all the time.

It all depends on what you are engraving. I've done some water bottles with vertical lettering/logo. About 35mm width and length of the bottle. But depending on the diameter, 30-40mm is about max.
