Lose my house?

Lately there have been many ads about people losing their home because somebody somehow forges your deed, changes it into their name, and gets loans on your house that you are not aware of, causing you to lose your home to foreclosure.

Naturally they have 'insurance' for this available..sort of like 'Life Lock'.

Anyone familiar with this? Scam or truth?
