:) This is my latest box that I made for my grand neice. It is oak with oak dowels. It is for a 2 year old and Dora and Boots are painted on with Liquitex acrylic paint. The finish is varnish with brass hinges. I had to check to make sure that everything was safe for a young child.

She's gonna love it, Gary. The dowels are a nice touch, and I could never do the painting that nicely.
