Large chuck jaws

Does anyone know if you can buy chuck jaws that will open up to 7 1/2 inches

Vicmarc has a 223 mm jaw set that will fit the Vicmarc 120/150 chuck.

By "open up" do you mean big enough to grip a 7-1/2" tenon, or expand into a 7-1/2" recess? As Guy said, Vicmarc makes Mega jaws. Their largest 9" jaws will grip a 8" to 9-5/8" tenon and expand into a 8-3/4" to 10-1/2" recess.

If you have a metal lathe or have a machine shop nearby it would not be unreasonable to make any jaw size you want. Turn round with indexing on the back to fit the chuck slides, drill and countersink holes for the screws, cut into quarters with a horizontal band saw.

I haven't made jaws yet but I turned one set down for a special purpose.
