Those were handy during my days as a telephone installer. These days my preference is a Millers Falls eggbeater.
There are three different models of those in a drawer:

One of them seems to want to put holes in a person's hand when removing a bit. My hands will not accept such risks. The other two are okay but an eggbeater doesn't need special bits.

Be careful, those things can breed if left alone in a drawer. You start out with two or three, leave the shop and go to a few garage sales or flea markets, and suddenly there are seven or eight in the drawer.

About like them Millers Falls versions of these.....or.....block planes?
