I bought this countersink from Amana tools:
https://www.amazon.com/Amana-Tool-Countersink-Adjustable-No-Thrust/dp/B00BJFK6N6/ref=asc_df_B00BJFK6N6/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=&hvpos=&hvnetw=o&hvrand=&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583726541185794&psc=1
It apparently has a 1/8 inch drill bit. I bought it thinking that it would be right for my wood screws -- I believe I usually use a #8 wood screw.
Here are my questions:
1. should I be using #8 for most cabinet work (with 3/4 in materials)?
2. what size pilot holes should I use for MDF, PB, Ply, and hardwood?
3. if you have experience with these amana countersinks, which drill bit/countersinks should I buy to use with this depth stop?
Thanks for any help!
